We started the month of February by attending a performance of “Sapphires” at the Playhouse theatre with dinner before-hand. It was a very entertaining evening which we all thoroughly enjoyed.
It was with much trepidation we attended Naomi’s work place. We were here to find out about Twittering and Face-book. Naomi gave us a practical lesson in how to Twitter and access Face-book. These are now not such a blank space as they were.
Naomi has our club on Twitter and Face-book, you can follow our club on these sites. We also now have a new look web site. www.si.helena.org.au
The last weekend in February our members will be serving afternoon tea to some of the residents at Cypress Gardens for SOS day (Saturday Of Service).
At out dinner meeting on March 2nd we will have a guest speaker Gina Olivieri. She will speak about her visit to Project SIerra.
Soroptimist International of Helena will be holding their annual Fashion Parade on 23rd May 1030-1430, at the Lesmurdie Club, $40.00 per head.
Soroptimist International of Helena has a dinner meeting on the first Tuesday of the month at the Hale Road Tavern, Hale Road, Forrestfield, at 1830.
